Hunting and Application Information

Washington Savannah River Company, in cooperation with the Department of Energy, invites you to submit an application to hunt on the Savannah River Site.  PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

• Print the application (see attached PDF).
• Fill out the information completely. In order for application to be processed, it must be filled out completely.
• You may hunt in a group of up to five (5) people. All standers in a group should put their information on one (1) application.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
• Do not submit your name on more than one application. Failure to follow this rule will result in you and your group being eliminated from the selection process.
• Mail the application to the address below. Do not e-mail. We will only accept applications that we receive in the mail.

• Stander selection is by a random computer program. If you are selected, a selection notice will be mailed to you. Please DO NOT CALL!
  
• If you are selected, a hunt fee of $90.00 per person will be charged. Do not send money now. You will be notified my mail of when to submit your hunt fees.
• If selected to hunt, all hunters must possess a SC hunting license with a Big Game Permit. Gratis license for SC residents 65 years of age and older or the disabled must have applied for and received a hunting license. No out of state Gratis license is recognized.
• Hunt dates on the application are subject to change.  In the event a change occurs, all hunters affected will be given another hunt date.
• If selected, your permit will be non-transferable and no refunds will be issued.
• Please read over the Rules of the Hunt (see attached PDF) before applying.
• Choose the alphabetical code from the date of the hunts list for your three (3) choices.
