Donna
is a Biology Instructor at a private school in Savannah,
GA. She is known for her passionate interest in the
environment and her determination to give a voice
to those who are disadvantaged. She is a member of
the American Society for Microbiologists, the Georgia
Science Teachers Association, the Mercy Secondary
Education Association and the National Catholic Education
Society. Donna also coaches track. She served as the
SRS CAB Vice Chair and currently is the acting Chair.

Manuel
retired as an Intelligence Officer from the U.S. Air
Force (USAF) in 1989 and served as a consultant to
industry until 1995. Manuel also served as an ordained
minister and chaplain with both the USAF Reserve and
the Department of Veteran Affairs from 1975 to 1979.
Manuel holds a B.S. in International Relations, an
MBA and a M.Div. He has been involved in various volunteer
activities including Service to Mankind (Sertoma)
International Foundation Trustee and USAF Academy
Association of Graduates Board of Directors. He and
his wife own a massage therapy business and reside
in Hilton Head Island, SC. He served as Vice-Chair
of the Waste Management Committee (2005) and has been
Chair of the Nuclear Materials Committee since 2006.

Mr.
Bridges retired from the Department of Energy five
years ago after 30 years of service as a nuclear engineer
at the Savannah River Site. He is active in several
civic organizations and a Naval Reserves Reunion group.
He has stated his background would be useful in helping
the CAB develop informed opinions about Site activities.
He holds a Doctorate and Masters in Nuclear Engineering
and resides in North Augusta, SC.

Development with the Glit-Microtron Company as a Technical
and Product Development Specialist. He has a Masters
in Business Administration, a Bachelors and Masters
in Chemical Engineering. Mr. Burke resides in Waynesboro,

Chavous
Leon retired after 30 years of professional
service at South Carolina State University School of
Agriculture and Science. He was Director of the Extension
and Research Program and has dedicated two-thirds of
his career to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged
people. He is the Vice Chairman of the Deacon Board
at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he also
initiated a SHARE food program. He resides in Orangeburg,
SC. |

is a partner in the Nuclear Regulation and Environmental
Practice Groups of Troutman Sanders, LLP. He has served
as nuclear energy counsel for several nuclear plants
since 1985 and frequently represents Nuclear Regulatory
Commission licensees in licensing and compliance matters.
Art has served on several Nuclear Energy Institute
Task Forces and has worked for the New York State
Department of Environmental Conservation and the South
Carolina Department of Natural Resources. He holds
a Masters of Science in Zoology and a law degree.
He resides in Atlanta, GA.

is a registered nurse working in a local high school.
She is a volunteer for the Red Cross with disaster
training. She is a current member and former Chair/President
of the Georgia Nurses Association, Veterans Administration
Chapter, in Augusta, GA. A former member of the Center
for Disease Control Health Effects Subcommittee, a
volunteer for the Shelter and Advocacy Center for
Abused Children, and she has also worked as a chemical
dependency nurse at the Veterans Association. She
is Chair for the Facilities Disposition and Site Remediation
Committee. She resides in Augusta, GA.

Environmental Engineering and Business Administration.

is an Environmental Scientist. She has served as an
environmental lab manager and research technician
at the Savannah State University. An environmental
activist, she has worked with Citizens for Environmental
Justice, Youth for a Cleaner Environment and the National
Council of Negro Women. Ms. Giles volunteers her time
at a local library where she helps with the children's
story time and is developing a program for youth regarding
environmental and marine sciences. Mercredi holds
a B.S. with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry.
She resides in Savannah, GA.

is a research coordinator with the University of Georgia's
Savannah River Ecology Laboratory at SRS. She has worked
at SREL since 1976 and been involved in many studies
from design through peer-reviewed publication. She is
a member of the South Carolina Wildlife Federation and
the National Wildlife Federation. Judith has always
lived near SRS. Her family lived in Meyers before SRS
was constructed and her parents were members of the
last graduating class of Ellenton High School. Judith
holds a B.S. in biology and resides in Jackson, SC.

resides in Allendale, SC. She is employed by Allendale
County Department of Social Services where she serves
in the position of County Director. She is the mother
of 1 daughter and has 3 grandchildren. She is a member
of Allendale Town Council and serves on several other
organizations in the community. Ms. Harley-Fitts holds
a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Morris College in
Sumter, SC and also did additional studies at USC-Salkehatchie
and USC-Aiken. She continuously strives to improve
the quality of life for citizens in Allendale County.

Stanley
lives on his farm with his family adjacent to the site
boundary near Windsor, SC. His experience as a large
vessel welding engineer for the last 30 years has required
relocation to many of the construction sites including
some in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Wyoming, Utah, Illinois,
Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and the Republic of
South Africa. Since 1988, he has lived in the CSRA,
employed by DuPont, Westinghouse and currently WGI for
the Savannah River Laboratory. He has been assigned
work in several areas of the Site. Mr. Howard holds
Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from
Texas A&M University. He is a member of Mount Calvary
Baptist Church in Elko, the American Welding Society,
and is currently serving in his third year as president
of the Astronomy Club of Augusta.

Dr.
Jayaraman is an Associate Professor and Chair of the
Department of Engineering Technology at Savannah State
University. He holds a doctorate degree in Environmental
Engineering, a Master of Science in Public Health Engineering
and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering.
Dr. Jayaraman is a member of the American Society of
Civil Engineers, American Society of Engineering Education,
and Engineers Without Borders - USA. He has also been
a Fellow of the Institution of Water and Environmental
Management and Royal Society of Health in United Kingdom.
He has served the American Association of University
Women as a member of the International Panel for selection
of foreign candidates for graduate programs in the United
States. In addition to teaching and other scholarly
activities, he is interested in conducting summer institutes
for school students, especially girls, for introducing
them to engineering education and careers. He resides
in Savannah, GA. |

communities. She has hosted community alliance meetings
regarding SRS and has followed SRS issues. Ms. Jzar

the Westinghouse Savannah River Company. She is a
past Board Member of the South Carolina Autism Society,

Council, Williston-Elko Band Booster member and a
Williston-Elko Athletic Booster member of the Williston-Elko
School Band. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Business
Administration in Personnel Management and she resides
in Williston, SC.

retired medical services army officer, Wendell is a
veteran with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He holds a Bachelor
of Science in medical technology from the University
of Hawaii and a Masters of Science in microbiology from
the University of Arizona. He has over 15 years experience

farming and timberland in Burke County. He is a member
of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and
the American Society of Microbiologists. He resides

Madeleine
retired from the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics
Laboratory after a 33 year career as a software engineer,
systems engineer and technical manager. She holds degrees
in Math and Computer Science, and spent a significant
part of her career designing and managing the systems
used to operate unmanned space missions. Her professional
work brought her into frequent contact with government
and civilian stakeholders including Department of Defense
(DOD) and National Aeronautics Space Administration
(NASA) sponsors, operational military staff, state government
officials and commercial customers. She relocated to
Aiken, SC with her family in 2005 and now owns a small
business serving the local residential construction
industry. |

has 42 years of experience in the chemical and nuclear
industries and spent 24 years at SRS before retiring
in 2004. He is a member of the American Institute of
Chemical Engineers, the National Society of Professional
Engineers and a registered Professional Engineer. Active
in various church and civic groups, Mr. Ortaldo is a
member of the Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness
organization. He was also a member of the Centers for
Disease Control Health Effects Subcommittee. He resides
in Aiken, SC. |

a Certification in Real Estate Appraisals. He is President
of the Christian Golf Association and a member of

of Trustees and Assistant Chairman of the First African
