| Overview |
| The Department of Energy Laboratory Information Management Systems User Group is a complex-wide organization of managers and technical representatives interested in communicating with other DOE sites and labs to find better, faster, cheaper ways of conducting business to reduce redundancies across the complex. The DOE LUG serves to focus the DOE complex and its representatives on the concepts of integrated, disciplined activities and cost effective performance that they may be continuously reinforced and improved in practice across the entire DOE complex. |
| Who Should Attend |
| Laboratory managers and technical representatives representing the DOE/NNSA laboratories across the DOE complex. Discussions of safety, best management practices and lessons learned from recent events in the analytical laboratories will be discussed. Managers will present an overview of their facilities, staffing, and analytical capabilities. R&D results of interest to the group, instrumental operation improvements, issues and needs, staffing needs and other problems will be brought before the group. |
